Glassware can get pretty expensive especially if you’re in college and always getting sht faced and breaking your glasses. Start just using your empty beer bottles and turning them into your new glasses. Look dope, easy to make and cheap! Follow these 5 easy steps.

Step 1 – Grab a beer bottle preferably with thick glass such as corona bottles. Tie a string just above the label on the empty bottle

Step 2 – Keep the string tied and soak it in lighter fluid.

Step 3 – Put the string back on the bottle and hold it horizontally. Light the sting rotating the bottle so the flame spreads. You should hear the bottle crack slightly in about 10 seconds.

Step 4 – After you hear the crack, pour cold water on the string and the top of the bottle will fall off.

Step 5 – Now grab sandpaper and sand the edges of the bottle till it is smooth.

I have finally made my YOU CAN HAVE FREE SHIT  giveaway!

So, rules for entering!

  1. Thou shalt follow me
  2. Thou shalt reblog this however many times you choose. Annoy the heck out of your followers if you want, but be a gentle person and, you know, kinda not.
  3. Giveaway blogs can participate I don’t care if your goal in life is to get free shit
  4. Likes count too, but you know, only once

So yes. I think that’s oh fuck PRIZES YES!

There will be, at first, 2 hoodies up, going to two different people (or one lucky person). You must, of course, have your ask box open so I can contact you about your winnings. If my message isn’t answered within 3 days (and it doesn’t say anywhere that you’ll be unavailable) I’ll pick someone else.

IN THE CASE that this gets more than 500 notes, the winners may pick some things with a total value of $25 (this means that it’s including shipping) (I know it’s douchy if you live in a shitty country like mine where you can’t get cheap shipping, but hey you can get another hoodie if you want) off of my page.

If this gets more than 1.000 notes, there will be three winners of the hoodies heck yes. Also they can all choose something off of my blog. No limit. In the case of 2.500 notes, I will order the winners a pizza (or you can get something else of my page, though you know, pizza). Not kidding. Or I’ll transfer you the money for pizza. Pizza will find a way!

Since I’m going to a con next month I’ll be broke as fuck (sorry just remembered uwu) so I have to say that this giveaway ends on the 1st of June. Have fun!

Monomi Plushie instructions from Cosmode 49, 2013. Download the pattern and high-res instruction scans here. If the link breaks, or the pattern isn’t clear, I’ll re-upload it at a higher dpi.

Materials as far as I can tell are:

  • 120cm x 130cm white fleece
  • 93cm x 58cm baby pink fleece
  • 20cm x 18cm peach felt for the ribbon
  • 7cm x 7cm black felt for mouth
  • 400~500g Polyester filling
  • 2cm red button, 2cm black button for eyes
  • 6 x 1.3cm black buttons
  • pink, black and red thread
  • wire
  • pink pastels/pen for cheeks

Happy plush-making!

Monokuma Plush Pattern by Cosmode Magazine

I was looking through my old Cosmodes and realized that I had this lying around in issue 38, and I just had to share it for all the Dangan Ronpa fans out there. Did you ever want your own adorable plush Monokuma? Now you can have one!

CLICK HERE FOR A LARGER VERSION OF THE PATTERN PIECES!!! Scale as needed; I scanned at 1200dpi but this is also a shrunken down thumbnail version.

Pattern is in Japanese but should be still readable with some plushmaking experience and a picture of Monokuma even if you don’t speak or read Japanese. However, for reference, the pattern tells you how many of each color to cut. 白 is white, 黒 is black, and 赤 is red. The pattern recommends fleece for the black and white, vinyl for the red, black and white self adhesive felt for the smile and the nose (as best as I can tell, use your judgement for this), and a button for the black eye. You glue the red vinyl on for the eye. You will also need a sharpie or fabric marker.

For some reason while working on the mockup version, they use orange fleece and horribly clashing thread. Don’t do this. Check the pictures of Monokuma and the sample FINISHED Monokuma for reference, and make sure to use the right thread!

Enjoy making your own Monokuma! Upupupupupupupu!

A few of you asked me how to do colored brows after I posted my rainbow eyebrow look so here’s how! :)
Fill in your eyebrow with white liner. I used an Elf Eye Liner.
Brush your eyebrow out with a spooly brush. This will remove any excess liner and coat all the hairs.
Apply eyeshadow to your eyebrow in the desired color with a stiff angled brush. I used a matte eyeshadow from the Shany Bold and Bright 120 Eyeshadow Palette and a MAC 266SE brush.
Clean up any mistakes with a Q-tip, apply the rest of your eye makeup and then you’re done, it’s that simple!

It’s nice to know how to color my eyebrows this way.
Now I don’t have to go through the trouble of dying my eyebrows, too.

SO GLAD I LEARNED THIS

How to wear a knife strapped to your thigh with a garter like a fucking lady while managing not to slice yourself open because you were fool enough to carry an unsheathed weapon next to a squishy part of your body that moves when you walk.

  1. Get a garter from somewhere; this one is a sock garter from Sock Dreams, which means it’s made to stay the fuck up there.
  2. Get a fucking sheath for those sharp, pointy things and put them in the sheath. There’ll be a velcro loop at the top so that they won’t slide out if you hold the sheath upside down.
  3. Put the garter through the loop at the top meant for whatever you’re using to attach it to yourself. Attach it to yourself, adjusting for ease of grabbing. You don’t want to put it on your inner thigh because that is awkward as hell to get out. The only way you’d be able to get it out in a timely manner is if you attached the sheath upside down, at which point you’d need two garters to keep the sheath from tilting inward toward your other thigh.
  4. Oh no, now the sheath is hanging loosely and is going to make a weird pattern against your clothing. Tuck that shit into your stockings if you’re wearing them, or use another garter if you’re not.
  5. Pull your pencil skirt back down over the knife sheath. Adjust accordingly due to tightness of skirt and shape of sheath. Make sure you can get at it as quick as you want.
  6. People look at you really strangely if this is the knife you pull out when you want to cut your apple up.

Vital Information for your Everyday Life.
